I discovered late in life just how deeply my mental health is tied to moving my body. That’s why I’m currently training for a 10K on November 15th—putting into practice the very connection between movement and well-being that Girls on the Run instills in young people every day.
Life comes with real grief and challenges, and our youth deserve tools that help them build lasting resilience. Beyond the life lessons, Girls on the Run gives girls dedicated time outside, active movement, and the simple joy of playing with friends. What could be better for young people than that?
As I train for November 15th, I’m raising awareness for Girls on the Run because every girl deserves to cultivate a compassionate inner voice and feel at home in her body--—because a world full of confident girls changes everything.
Will you support my 10K journey and help me empower the next generation?
